Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary
Oinking Acres Farm Rescue & Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 rescue and sanctuary located in Brownsburg, Indiana.
Their mission is “to help as many animals as possible, educate people about farm animal rescue, find loving homes for the animals that are adoptable, and provide sanctuary to the animals who are un-adoptable”.

Oinking Acres must have pigs, right?
Yes they do!
They also have a family of other farm animals who visit or stay for comfortable sanctuary. While we don’t know yet who can visit during con, their permanent family members include their pigs Theo, Rebel, & Rogue and cows Bessy & Buster as well as others!
Why Pigs?
Pigs are highly intelligent creatures. They are the third smartest animal in the animal kingdom, following dolphins and orangutans. Pigs are very emotional beings, intuitive and aware of their surroundings. They form strong bonds with other animals and people. Pigs even show their emotions; they wag their tails when they are happy and they cry tears when they’re sad.
Unique offerings by Oinking Acres include:
- Special events like Yoga led by pigs or goats
- Barn Tours where you can meet everyone
- Rentable Party Space up in the barn loft
- Pig Boarding to give your pig a vacation when you take one
- Adoptions of Pigs, Goats, Chickens, Ducks, and Kittens
